Hiya folks. I just installed the Platypus front license plate holder with no problem. However, those "lamprey connectors" that are supposed to hold the plate onto the Platypus are not very good. I brushed against the plate and the connectors exploded all over the place (my plate is old and bent, but holds sentimental value).

Anyone have any elegant solutions to adhering the plate to the holder? I'm thinking zip ties, but that would certainly detract from the beauty of the car.

 

Any auto parts store sells small plastic license plate bolts and nuts that would work with the platypus. They will attach your plate much more securely than the connectors supplied.
