Ordered my Mini 8/24 and it finally moved to "Scheduled for Production 9/13. My dealer tells me it should be built on 9/24 and I may see it before 10/1!
I am mid 50's and purchasing my first "fun" car! Looking forward to learning and sharing with all you folks!

Congrats on your new purchase, and welcome to the NAM forum. You'll learn a lot on these threads.

Not to rain on your parade, but unless you're sitting at the MINI plant in Oxford, England, it's not possible for a MINI built on 9/24 to be anywhere for you to see it in 7 days. The build takes 8 days from the start of production, several days to get to the dock in Southampton, waiting at the dock for a ship assignment, a few weeks to get across the ocean, time at the VDC, etc. Based on the dates you mentioned, it's likely to be several more weeks after 10/1 until you will see it anywhere near Orlando.

Read the sticky threads on this forum for more info, and keep us posted as to your actual status.
