New to NAM from the Texas Gulf Coast

Hello,

I'm new to NAM. I joined to ask some questions about my Mini. First, a little background.

I live in League City, TX (Galveston County). I purchased a used 2004 Mini Cooper for my teenaged daughter. She is the daily driver. I'm not. Occasionally, I'll drive it and always love it. Thankfully, the things I taught her about paying attention to gauges and new "noises" has paid off. She is pretty good for a 17 year old. Honestly, I think I'm more excited about doing modifications to her Mini than she is. I have a few ideas but have to get her permission prior to doing anything to "her" car.

I am not scared to try to fix things myself and can usually walk my way through basic repairs. I have a good assortment of tools including air and power tools. I'm looking forward to speaking with many of you for ideas and problem solving.

Welcome to NAM and congrats to your daughter on her new MINI. You will find much useful information about mod and many more topics on the NAM threads. The search function will soon be your best friend. We'd love to see some pics of the new MINI.

Congrats to your daughter on her MINI. NAM is the place to go for advice from MINI owners, many of whom do their own repairs or mods. Ask and you shall receive!
