Another Mini Newbie! Hello from Cleveland!
Hi everyone. I recently joined the ranks of Mini lovers with the purchase of a 2012 Mini Copper S. Love the car and it is a lot of fun to drive! I have been bitten by the bug to add mods to the car. Looking forward to getting to know everyone. Thanks in advance for the help and info on mods and other facts about the car. Have a good day.
Welcome to NAM and congrats on your new MINI Cooper S, not MINI Copper S
, right? Well, unless there is a new trim level someone didn't tell me about?
We're glad to have you with us.
Since Braminator took the words right out of my mouth, I'll just say this...

Hello from Cleveland again. I will try to get a few pictures of the MINI today and get them posted. I guess I let it out of the bag about the new Copper trim level from MINI. Thanks for welcoming me to the group!
We'll be waiting patiently for pics of your new MINI. Well, at least I'll be patient, Braminator on the other hand...

Proof from Cleveland!
Hey guys....sorry for not posting a few pictures last night. Here is the proof you have been patiently waiting to see.
Thus far, I really have not done anything to my MCS other than new wheels and tires. I have spent a lot of time thinking about what I would like to do to my MCS. My wallet is on lockdown right now.
I have definitely been bitten. I would like to improve the performance and handling. I have been thinking
about things like:
CAI
NM Charge & Discharge
Forge Intercooler
NM Short Shift
NM Shifter Assembly Cover
NM Tie Bar
Rear Sway Bar
Larger brakes
NM Torque Arm Insert
Gages
Coilovers/springs
Exhaust (would like more power which means a down pipe-CEL?)
The list could go on......
I have installed new wheels and tires. I also installed a heat shield package from Way Motor Works. The next think I think I am going to tackle is the height, rake and possibly offset on the car. I think it is too high. What are your thoughts?
Any suggestions or opinions you have would be appreciated. I am new to MINI's and have a lot to learn.
Have a good night.
