Hey guys, names Blake. New to the mini family but have always been interested in putting my style into one someday. Purchased an 06 regular mini (not an S :( ) but am looking to start off with the small things that won't kill my part-time pocketbook. I've looked into G-force chips, some different intakes and header/exhaust kits but was wondering what else I can do to get a little more here and there from the wee little engine I have! Any and all tips are MUCH appreciated.

 

Welcome! I have an '06 Mini, too. While it certainly doesn't have the power of the S it is still quite peppy and fun to drive. The general opinion is that an '06 Justa is really a good choice. Try looking at minicar parts.com or mini mania.com for some ideas for mods.

You will find Blake that a Justa is a great car... C'mon its a MINI so its all good!

Though the Cooper may give up a little to its more powerful stablemates (the Cooper S, JCW, and GP) it is still every bit a MINI and fun to drive and in capable hands can be very quick.
