MoTD 2013
I was in NC last spring on a motorcycle trip and i loved all the MINI's running about. I swore I'd get one, but didn't. Last week I happened to be in NC again on a motorcycle trip, seeing all the MINI's made me wish i had one. I am swearing to get a MINI. But....This time the wife is on board. She really wants one too. So, we are shopping as i type. I'm looking forward to being part of your community. Mike

Welcome and good luck shopping. What are you looking for, model-wise? New or used? S or non-S, etc. There are a few must-have options IMO and we here have a general consensus (Xenons, Harmon-Kardon, Auto AC, etc).

Definitely need an "S". I'm honestly on the fence between the hard-top and clubman. I like the idea of a bit more space. I'm looking at "pre-loved" MINI's. i just don't have the capital for that new car smell.

Here she is. 06 R53 with 75k on the clock. It has a few boo boo's that need massaging but over all i love love love it. I'm taking all the black off and going back to chrome, mainly due to the fact that the plastidip is coming off and looks trashy. I do love the "bruiser" look though. We shall see.
