On American Soil!
Finally on American soil! The Asian Emperor dropped off my MCS at the NY port yesterday, so I'm anxiously awaiting word from MINI of Mount Laurel (NJ) that they have the car.
It's my first MINI, ordered on 3/29. I'm hoping that I'll be able to drive it home sometime next week, although I really don't know how long it takes for the dealership to get it & prep it.
I haven't told anybody that I'm getting a MINI, except for my wife (of course!) and one friend, so it will be interesting to see people's reactions when they see me in this little MINI instead of the pickup that I've been driving for 10 years. The MCS is almost the same color as the truck, so I can tell people that it finally shrank after being left out in the rain too many times.
