This is the first time I've ever joined a forum and actually introduced myself. I'm a prior MINI owner, looking to get into another. I currently have a 2006 Lotus Elise I'm swapping to a honda K20 powerplant and have a full STi swapped wrx wagon I'm looking to swap out for a MINI, classic or newer.
Will take some time tonight to browse and see what all this forum has to offer. Looks great from what I've seen so far!

Definitely looks like there's a great bunch of folks here!
I/we started with a 2004 Cooper S, the wife wrecked it and we put her into a mazdaspeed 3. She auto crossed the mini a few times and loved it. I enjoyed driving it too which is why I'm wanting to get one to commute in. The subaru is becoming impratical with gas prices and only averaging low 20's. I picked up a civic for the commute but a cooper S would be way more fun and still get about the same mileage.
So the plan is to offer up my subaru for a trade on a cooper S. I've had it on a few other boards but not really drawn too much interest. With over 100k members here, this might be the magic ticket.
