Hola

New Mini owner. Just bought a 2013 cooper S hardtop. Red with black roof and black bonnet stripes. JCW black check cloth, technology pack 2, JCW pack, MINI connect w nav, steering paddles, black headlight housings, pano roof, interior piano black accents, Xenon, and white turn signals. I bought the best equipped Hardtop I could find. Almost drove to Houston for a kite blue Bayswater, but the red is stunning.

In 2002 my Jeep Wrangler gave up its ghost and I looked at both the MINI and the MB C coupe. I went with the C coupe. I totally loved my car, but it was getting long in the tooth. I considered an SLK, but the previous generation is hard to find with nav and other upgrades.

So back to the MINI dealer I went and this time drove off the lot in my new car. I am having just a tiny bit of anxiety, hoping it will calm. The ride is a bit stiffer than my old coupe. I am sure I will get used to it, but for now .

The ride hasn't been as painful today, so I am hoping it will work for me. I think a big part of the problem yesterday was how much time it took me to get out of the dealership. It is just insane. I walked in at 9:30 knowing exactly which car I wanted to see. I decided within 30 minutes I wanted it. I was a cash customer so there was no need for finance. All I needed was a total so I could go get a check from my CU. I didn't drive off until 4 pm. So by the time I left my body felt the strain and the ride was indeed uncomfortable.

First thing I did today was order sheepskin seat covers and floormats from superlamb. Hopefully they will help with some of the pain.
