I am a new member here and I wanted to introduce myself. I ordered my new MCS Hardtop October 16th and when I called ASK-MINI today they said it went into production October 30th. The "this is real" excitement has now kicked into overdrive.
I ordered my first Mini in 2005 and had to wait for that one as well. Something just seems different this time. Maybe it's because this one is an S. Maybe it's because this one has options I wish I had spec'ed the first time. Who knows? I just know the days left until I am driving it are closing in.

Congrats! My 8 week wait ended last Friday and it sure seemed like more than two months. Fortunately, there's a support group for those who are waiting.

Congrats! You picked a great color - I was considering trading mine in over the summer and that was the color I configured (with a white roof). While it wasn't the right time for us to step up to the S, my next one will now be the JCW. Psyched for that and now I can really finish off my straight Cooper like I wanted.

 

Congrats! I ordered MINI #2 on the 27th. Super excited here since I spec'd the things I really wanted this time, like you. Mine is a Cooper same as the 1st. I can't justify the extra $$ when I'm still more than satisfied with the 1st one.
