I got an eMail from my MA last Thursday that my Highgate was aboard ship, on the briny and headed for New Jersey, for scheduled arrival on the 25th. The Owner's Lounge still shows the status as "Awaiting Transport". Unfortunate, because I wanted to play the game of following the ship across the pond. I was also going to try to call the Captain to tell him to STEP ON IT.



Anyway, it looks like I'll have it by the first week of November.

We had a beautiful weekend here in NJ, with the autumn leaves at their absolute peak. All I could thing of was how great it would be to be motoring around topless. With my luck, as soon as my car arrives, it will be cold and rainy every day until June.

 

I found it! Riding aboard the good ship PORGY. Just off the coast of Nova Scotia. Scheduled to dock at Halifax today at about 5:30. Then, on to New Jersey on Thursday.

Now maritimetraffic.com shows the PORGY as "Out of Range". Supposed to be on its way from Halifax to NJ.

I hope she didn't sink?

 

It was fun to track my Roadster on the ship. I found that the Owners Lounge was usually several days behind the real status. Hope you get your new MINI soon

 

Several days behind is an understatment. My ship left England on 10/13 and it still shows as "Awaiting Transport". I have a feeling my car will have 10,000 miles on it before it shifts into "En Route".
