My first mini coop!

Finished signing the papers last week so figured I finally better join instead of looking as a guest.

I got a 2009 Mini Cooper s clubman 6spd hot choc
I love her, haven't decided a name yet.

First thing I want to do is put a set of boost/oil gauges I saw on the mini mania website. But I'm not good at anything mechanical so I have to find someone to install

Anyways, love the car and hopefully you guys won't get sick of me asking questions

Hello and welcome to NAM and MINI ownership! Congrats on the purchase. Where are you, so that we might recommend a great MINI shop for that install?

Take care,
Chris

congrats on your new car/1st MINI! Nice screen name too. As for gauges, I believe there is a digital box that hooks to the OBD port on the underside of the dash that will display a few things like temps, not sure of boost. There is quite alot of talk on here of it, if you do not want to wire up gauges and sensors.

Good luck and happy motoring

I live in the Pittsburgh area. Not sure if mini of Pittsburgh would be willing to do something like that. Might cost an arm and a leg for a dealer to do that too

Came in here to see what a MINI Coop looks like. Was expecting to see the bastard child of a Cooper and a Coupe. Very disappointed.

Yankin' the newb's chain. Welcome and Congrats!
