Hey guys newbie here looking to get some advice on modifying my 2007 mini. I own the car outright and I'm looking to but about 4k worth of mods into it. Right now I'm planning on NM RS spring kit for a better stance and possibly sprint booster power converter. If I went that route I would have about 3300 bucks left to play with.

My goal is to improve the performance of the car to around the cooper S level or better. Any advice in terms up upgrades (i.e. turbos, ECU flashes, suspension, etc) would be greatly appreciated. The car is a daily driver thus I'm not looking to go too crazy, but stock just won't do and I want to get the best bang for my buck. Thanks in advance for the advice!

 

My first question is------ if you're willing to spend 3K to make it run like an S, why didn't you buy the S????

 

It was my wife's car but I'm going to be driving it now as my work commute has changed.
