'New to site. Presenting, for your pleasure and delectation, my (newly acquired) low mileage '08 Cooper S. I recently defected from East Germany as I've been a VW owner all my life. And compaired to my 1.8L Turbo Beetle , all I can say is (without tuning either car) bloody hell this thing is fast!!! But enough about me...

Yeah... There is THAT huh? Just when I thought it couldn't get better, I find a nice twisty road and this euphoric mist descends upon me and I get that stupid grin on my face and, in my mind, I become the Stig.

Heck, I'll just be driving around town or running to the store, and when I feel the cars feedback in my hands and butt, I look through the windscreen and my maturity flies right out of the sunroof. I start looking for the braking point, turn point, apex and then start lining up the next corner. Is there a warranty BMW offers to ensure against tickets? I'm WAY too old to be acting like this!



Well, I don't know if it counts or not but I've already completed my first mod. The car didn't have the bonnet stripes on it when I bought it. The first full day I had it home, I made up a set using vinyl I had laying around the shop.
