How Do I delete my NAM account?

I recently sold my Countryman. So I do not come to the NAM message boards anymore.

How do I delete my account.

You stop posting and move on... Why delete, there is no reason and many boards will only lock your account.

Because leaving an old account with your details has a security risk. Yes, you can change all the details, but deleting an unused account reduces risk. (Doesn't eliminate it, since back-ups with the data (hopefully) exist.)

We just had this issue come up and deleting the account does not delete the threads that are stored. If you are getting emails for threads you are subscribed to, go to your User CP and delete all the threads (be sure to click on the View all Subscribed Threads icon as although you may not see any, there could be threads in your folder.
