We are from the seacoast area of NH, we just ordered a 2012 Mini Cooper Countryman S in Cosmic Blue from Mini of Bedford, as there were none in the area that had my wife's options. Typically does it take the 8-11 weeks quoted? I am assuming the car comes into NYC VDC>? I am not sure of the acronym for my car LOL is it McCMS??

Good luck - I just picked Silver All4 off a lot in Connecticut -- was very lucky they had what I wanted. I was told by the dealer that it could be as short as 6 weeks depending on production cycles. Seems unlikely that it would be that short. Whatever, it is, it'll be worth the wait.

 

I see westchester in your profile, is that CT or NY

 

Westchester's in NY, but I work in CT and had a much better dealer to work with there.

 

Grew up in CT , next to westchester, ct....so thought I might have known yah...So glad my dealer was awesome as well

 

Make sure you check the paint VERY carefully when you pick it up. I don't think they (Bedford MINI) do a very good job prepping their cars. I have swirl marks that were present before I washed my MINI. They are hard to see and the light has to hit it just right, but I have definitely never had such an issue my other non-MINI new car purchases.
