My dear Zippy (2004 auto transmission, 70,000 miles) jerks and sputters when getting started. Has stalled a couple of times first thing in the morning, "slams" from reverse to drive when cold. The dealer repair shop said "this jerking motion is normal because of the chain drive." Is this true or a CYA response? I love Zippy and just want to keep her running.
