Hello, I'm new to the forum, and have just ended my mini honeymoon (extended service package) I need to change my spark plugs in my 2008 Clubman. I have bought the plugs, the socket, I know the torque setting...but I am having trouble figuring out how to access the ignition coils & plugs. I have removed the air apparatus, but it appears that the coils & plugs are still blocked by what appears to be a line for charging the AC system. Sound familiar to anyone? Am I on the right track at least? This is newest car I've worked on, and the first with direct ignition. I'd appreciate any guidance. Thanks

 

Are you still having trouble doing your plugs? Take a photo if you have a cell phone with a camera so I can see what you problem is. There should be nothing blocking your access to the plugs. Kevin
