When I ordered my car (4/22), my MA asked me if I'd like to lock in the .9% offer then no matter when the car actually arrived (6/19). All he had to do was run a credit report, so I was approved a couple of minutes later. 
Maybe you should see if that will work in your case, if you're really worried about it. On the other hand, the .9% offer is good for deliveries through the end of September, so if that doesn't work you've got much bigger problems to worry about. ("Hello, Mr. Zippy? This is Captain Ahab. We just hit an iceberg and your car is now at the bottom of the Atlantic. Sorry ...")

they definitely need to work on there customer relations a bit more.. its horrible... But loved the iceberg joke.. I like a good sense of humor 
I can see it already iceberg dead ahead!! And we all know what happened after that!!..lol

Excellent! Keep us posted on how long it stays at the DC. Did you have any options that are installed there vs the factory?

hahaha... you know I am! Mine's been at the port in Southampton for almost a week. Still not showing up on any manifest so don't think it got on the Integrity, Thank Goodness... it sailed five days ago, think I'd show up by now.
The Tarago sails today straight for Baltimore... meaning my MINI would be at the dealership in about 8-10 days if I get on that ship.

I hope not. Maybe I should have said factory to Southampton. My car sat in Oxford for 22 days before being sent to the port in Southampton.

If I do the same for the Tiger, it seems about half way to the Panama Canal. Supposed to be there July 1. Sigh....

I was at the port when the Integrity loaded up. Can't imagine they'd have it sit there and not load it on two straight ships destined for my port of Baltimore. Guess stranger things have happened.

Well, if you go here and click on the map, then zoom out, it seems to be close to the shore - closer to the US than to Europe anyway. Given it lands on the 27th, that seems about right.

I just looked and today makes day 40 of waiting.. I don't know if that's bad or not.. But it seems like forever!!

My dealership is only about 15-20 miles from the port.
