Baltimore... literally just a 20 minute truck ride to my dealership.

 

Sweet.... I think the wait for something you really lust after makes obtaining it every sweeter. Was the case with my girlfriend in third grade.

 

Oh wow.. that's lucky for you!! But Baltimore is where mines coming into as well... Lets just hope we don't get put on the ship that's taking the scenic route...lol

 

Exactly. But with mine due out of production on Monday, I would not be a bit surprised if that's the ship it ends up on.

By the way, when mine arrives at the dealership, I suspect they will have it for a week to ten days for the dealer installed accessories i'm going to have them put on. Stripes, clear bra, tint, and a surprise that I'm going to keep to myself for now.

 

Ha Ha that's good!! Never let out everything about your car.. There needs to be surprises.. That clear bra....what do you think about them?

 

What port is the Minion headed too? When is it due into port?

 

I've had clear bras installed on all three, this will make four, of the MINIs that were bought new. Would not dream of driving around without one.

 

The minion arrives in New York on the 18th

 

Hummm I think they also have them for the rear of the car as well.. I have been thinking about having them installed..Or at least the front one!!

When I sold my 06 Justa, it was 4 years old. Looked very nearly new. Not a single chip or mark of any kind on the bumper or front of the bonnet. Had one six inches behind the clear bra from a stone that had really bad aim.... or good if it was an evil stone.

 

That's good to know.. I will have to get it then They do say you have to watch out for those evil stones!! specially the ones with go aim!!

What does mini charge for a partial clear bra install?

 

Me either. I've had the clear protection package installed on my last three cars and will have it installed on my MINI before I take it home. My trade-in, a 3-year-old GTI, didn't have a single chip or mark in the paint where it was protected, and I know I got the value of the clear protection package back on trade-in value.

 

It sounds like someone wants there MINI!! I wish I was in your shoes already.. I know I wouldn't be getting much sleep..lol

Make sure you ask for 3M film. There are some cheap and undependable films out there.

 

This will be my first dealer installed one. Your dealership installing yours? Or do they out-source it?

Thanks CR... The 3M brand is the one my MINI dealership uses.. So that is the one I would have put on!!
