I just called 866-ASK-MINI: Mine is in the paint shop and is expected to be finished today, 4/11/13!

Yeah, I look at that site a few times a day. The next ship to load is K-Line Chesapeake Hwy so I will call the MA tomorrow to see if I made that one.
Next would be WW BOHEME for 4/14.

T-1 and counting. Tomorrow is the big day. I pick up the R59 tomorrow morning at 10:00 am. Leaving this evening for the 6 hour drive!

Congrats to everyone that's received their new family member

I was hoping to have everything finalized (loan, insurance, and Netherlands Plates) by now, but turns out my MA was wrong when he said end of April delivery.

As it stands right now, I have a build slot in the last week of April, which means I probably won't have the lil bugger for 3-4 weeks.

Still waiting on the VIN to finalize everything. Hopefully I'll get that Monday or Tuesday.

 

Disappointing to say the least. The only consolation is your Mini doesn't have far to travel.

 

This time. LOL. In about 8 months, it'll make the trip across the pond when I get stationed in the US again. Then I'll be waiting 6 weeks for it. At least BMW pays for it as a courtesy to the Military, so I know it will be shipped properly and not by someone the Military contracts to do it.

Same here. I called Mini yesterday and was told mine is in production week 17, which is the week of Apr. 21. No VIN yesterday but hoping it'll be available early next week. Will be nice to feel like the car is starting to officially exist!

 

1-866-ASK-MINI is telling me the same thing that they were two days ago: in the paint shop with an estimated completion date of April 11... Hmmm, that came and went!

 

I hear ya. It's been 2 months since I ordered, and I am getting anxious to see it already.

 

I haven't picked up Hilda yet. Later this week I'm hoping for. Reason? I want the striping and clear bra done before pick up. I chose the accent stripe color yesterday finally. It would be way too much of a hassle to get appointments set up, go to etc. Last thing to take care of after that is to get a new car detail done. I'll get that set up myself. Through the whole thing Mike, my MA has been great and the dealership has been very accommadating.

I guess I can join this group now, ordered my R58 yesterday and I'm hoping to possibly see it at the factory in mid-May when I visit home. Even if I don't, being out of the country for 2 weeks should make the wait a little easier as I won't be able to call the 800 number every day. I was spoiled with my R56 as order to delivery was only 4 weeks! Glad to be aboard this roller coaster one more time.
