"Those waiting for a 2013" Support Group
As for me still no word in where my car is. Still in limbo and no one knows where, not so thrilled at the moment.

Ordered: Dec. 8, Prod. Start: Dec. 11, Born: Dec. 19, In Transit: Dec. 30, VDC: Jan. 13, Est. Delivery: Jan. 16, Pickup: Jan. 17
2013 Cooper S Hardtop - Eclipse Grey w/ Black Stripes
I just called 866-ASK-MINI and they said my car is in daily production, which means it should go into production any day...as soon as tomorrow but probably this week. It is important to speak to someone and not rely on the recorded message (which had no info on my production number). The MA had told me that it would probably be a Feb 6 production date. The Owners Lounge has no record of it.
This is really not that important (compared to producing great cars), but do you think that after ten years of doing this they would have their act together in terms of information systems and communications? It is rather mystifying.

thanks so much for calling them and then leaving the post. I too called them a few minutes ago, and for the first time, 1-866-ASK-MINI knew more than my MA. According to them, my car actually started prodcution at 6am YESTERDAY morning.
Woohoo!!! Oh, please be ture, please be true!!!!!!!

Finally Home
Picked it up Friday but haven't had the chance to get some good Pix outside yet. It was a very long 8+ weeks but now that it's home it was well worth the wait. Hope you all get your Mini's home soon!

My fingers are crossed Kleiner!! So hopeful. Can't wait to post pic of the beauty once she arrives!!!!!!
All they said to me on the phone was that the status changed to "scheduled for production" on January 11th, but they have no info on which date that might be scheduled for. So, no change and no update to the owner's lounge.
Call Ask Mini as their site did go down late Fri and didn't come back up until early Saturday so maybe they are still having some issues.
Hopefully things will start moving as the factory just opened back up yesterday. I ordered mine from the dealer on Sat Jan 12 and I still have not received a production number. Hoping I'll get that sometime this week!
I ordered mine on Sat the 5th and had a production number the Tuesday after. I would bug your dealer. Each dealer only has so many slots given to them for production. The higher volume dealers get more slots. I'd keep on them. Mine is already about to get on a ship tomorrow. Keep bugging!
From what I've heard they usually sit at the port between 10-12 working days. With Monday being a holiday, you may be waiting a bit longer. Sorry to be a downer

, completion date of the 25th.
