My 2006 Mini's passenger door will not open from the inside. The door lock is working so I think the actuater is ok. Any thoughts??

Most likely the cable release slipped out of its holder. Take it apart and check it out. Really pretty easy to do. You might try banging on the door panel. If it is close it MIGHT pop back in.

Check out some of the YouTube video about changing out the stock handle for a pull strap type... they take the door apart and show you the lock assembly and will show you how it works. They say it takes about 10 minutes per door, so I'd double that to take yours apart and see whats working and what is not.

If it works otherwise most likely it's the cable, sometimes they just pop out the actuator but we still replace them.
