So Tombarra is moored. BUT, it does not seem to be at the dock nearest the VDC. Hmmmm. Thoughts?

I was just about to type the same comment. Clearly from the satellite photos it is at an auto terminal. I was wondering if they would move the ship to the other dock after off loading other makers vehicles. It would seem to be a pain in the a$$ to move all those minis and bmws from there over to the VPC...but who knows.

There are something like 323 minis currently on the Tombarra...not sure how many are getting off in New York...but the WW site updates frequently so we should see action soon.

The ship is scheduled to leave tomorrow night at 23:00 (not sure if that is EDT or UTC).

i know many of you stated ETA has not been pushed back but when i punch in my VIN number, the ETA still states has been pushed back to 5/21/12

My Dealership in Manhattan was holding an event today - Mini Take down Test Drive, and yes my friends I was there to participate. It was a blast to drive the new Mini S w/stick.She kicked and galloped like an untamed horse, But it also tells you, you are in charge. it just goes!!

I see. Did the Berthing took place already? 6pm to 11:45pm? that would make sense right? or is it looking for another Spot to dock again

Tombarra seems to be leaving NJ and taking the same route out, but no status as to where it's heading "as yet" "underway" to where??

At 8:15 the status for all of the Minis in my bill of lading group were discharged from the Tombarra.

Now comes the great unknown wait in the VDC.

Something definitely got messed up with the scheduling. different sites are reporting different information. This is embarrassing and bad management. So who should we point fingers at now?

The ship landed 2 days ago in NJ/NY, then docket all day Saturday "at what appears to be the wrong port" - Killing time maybe?

Then decided to undock Sunday night and travel again to another port, closer in NY. More time wasted.

VDC is closed on the weekend - Ship had no choice but to sit here for 2 days

Friday !!!

Just got the call from my MA

Car has been released to the trucking company. Should be at the dealer tomorrow or Thursday. Appointment scheduled to pick the car up on Friday!!
