Hey all, I've been stalking this site since January and have gotten loads of information so far, so I figured I'd quit lurking and say hey!

We decided to get a Mini because our Mini choose us. My wife and I went to see the Price is Right during our honeymoon and she ended up winning a Mini Cooper. Once it was said and done we decided to upgrade it from the one on the show and waited patiently for it's arrival (thanks to everyone in the Waiting on a 2012 support group, that was one LOOOOONG wait).

His name is George after George Gray who hosts the Price is Right (nice guy BTW).

Anyway, we have about 750 miles on it so far and we can't wait for the break in period to be over with. But there's still lots of fun to be hand under 4500 RPM .

I'm looking forward to finally interacting with all the wonderful folks here at NAM!

 

Looks awesome, and what a great story behind it! I haven't watched the Price is Right since Bob Barker left the show, but when I missed school as a kid (which was way too much... Ferris Bueller had nothing on me!), I always watched it.

The Coupe sounds awesome. I'll be looking out here for your official introduction of your car. We love the Spice Orange color. It's got a lot of personality without being over the top for an orange car.
