I test drove an 05 cooper S with 125k recently and loved it. I could feel the difference in power between it and 2 03s I've tested, and I really can't bring myself to buy the older ones because the 05 just felt perfect to me. I'm taking it to a Pre-purchase inspection Monday and planning to buy if there are no big surprises. Anything I should be especially concerned about? Anything that should be expected that I don't need to worry about? Is there any recommended immediate maintenance or replacement (normal I would do timing belt but since mini has a chain my understanding is you get warning before it breaks).
