transmission swap

Can you swap a 6 speed for an auto on an 06-08 cooper s. My wife will not drive a stick. BooHoo

We've done a few autos to 6spd swaps, but going to an Auto isn't going to be worth it, It will be cheaper to buy another car.

Also, '06 and '07 were 2 different models in the hardtop (convertible is a different story)

WAYMOTORWORKS is giving you excellent advice. You'll be a lot better off financially to trade cars rather that trying to switch transmission types! IMHO!
