I'm going to order 2012 Mini Cooper Hardtop. Trying to figure out color and seats, ok on the rest of it.
Option 1 = Pepper White with Black roof and Black bonnet stripes
Option 2= Midnight Black for entire car
Sport seat or Standard seat. I'm a 5'11 200lbs, so perhaps standard seat gives a little bit more room. I sat in both, and I kind of remember that being the case, but wasn't super noticeable in 15min test drive of both. Long term what seat has worked out for my size, weight?
Thanks

I'm a little heavier than you, I find the Cloth/Leather sports seats to be the most comfortable. Slightly wider than the cloth ones. I'm not fond of the standard seats after having had the sports seats.
We have a pepper white/black roof (although conv) and black sport stripes, black rims and it's very tough looking we get all kind of good looks.
I think sport stripes are tougher looking imop....
I'm 6'6 and 205 the sport seats are no problem to me.

I have the sports seats and I'm 200 lbs and 5'10" so we're pretty close in weight/ height and I find them very comfortable. I was looking for Pepper white when I found my Chili red S so I do like the "pepper". With that said, the black Mini's with the the dark gray/charcoal sports stripes knock my socks off. They are soooo sweet! That would be my VOTE
Ok, I ordered option 1, PW with black roof and black stripes, but on the way home I saw a dirty one drive by and it just didn't seem right. Now I'm thinking I should have ordered silver with black roof or BRG with black roof. So many options. I have until Monday to make up my mind.

Look through some of the picture threads on the forums! There are a ton of them such as "Post a picture of your R56" or "Show me your stripes" or any of the color threads. They are a wealth of information since pictures are worth a thousand words after all!
I'm personally a fan of the BRG with Black Roof and Silver Stripes, but I'm certain I'm biased!

You are absolutely correct on a black car not being too sweet when it's dirty. I have a black GMC Terrain, my first black car ever and I do like it very much.
So, nothing looks worst than a DIRTY BLACK car, however, nothing looks better than a CLEAN BLACK car either! You certainly have an interesting decision to make in the next couple of days------Good luck with it!!!!!!

Yeah, I'm been looking at the pics and I kind of like them all. Reminds me of when I bought a Jeep wrangler, so many color choices. But with the Mini there are so many colors and so many options. The one I have at the dealer now is a Cooper non-S with PW, black roof, black bonnet stripes, headlamp black out, white turn, DTC, auto dim rear and side mirrors (does it really need it on the side?), front and rear fog, rain sensor and auto head lamp, xenon, 16 inch black wheel, auto ac, bluetooth + usb. MSRP of 25,100, but then I was thinking the only reason I'm stuck between these colors is that my favorite color is not an option on the non-S, so I'm thinking if I reduce the option list to DTC, auto dim rear, auto ac and bluetooth/usb I can get the Eclipse Gray with black roof and black bonnet stripes for 26,650 MSRP. For either car, the dealer will sell for $1000 off MSRP. So if the money was yours what would you do? Will I really miss those options?
Everyone puts a different value on each option after all so its not possible to really say. If I were to build a new MINI now I would probably say the musts are - no sunroof, auto dimming (yes the sides are helpful!), the fancy pants leather, auto ac, xenon, 17 in wheels.
But...everyone drives and uses a MINI differently. Each MINI is unique so it really still ends up being your decision. Is it really worth spending $1,550 extra for the color and fewer options? Really that's a question you have to answer yourself!
Either way, looks like you've got a great MINI heading your way!

on your face when you see it!!
When we went out on our Test Drive I don't think I really had a color picked out yet, but once we saw the Oxygen Blue in person, Hubby and I both said...YEP...THAT'S IT!!
Don't tell him or Molly, but I was skeptical even as we saw her for the 1st time 1 Week prior to Delivery...once we took her home...there was no second guessing...she is just right for US!!
I like the color selection you're considering. I was just a bit confused about if it is just available in an S or a "justa". If it were the S, that would definitely be enough to push me over the edge even if I had to forgo a few options. What could be better than that--a favorite color mini in the S model.
