New owner 06 MCS central PA
New owner 06 MCS central PA
Well the idea snowballed, and I am now the owner of a 06 space blue metallic MCS. The previous owner did intake, exhaust, bracing, wheels. New to the specific car, but have been around the car / forum scene in general for a while. Hope to have some fun with this car.
Iphone picture at the dealer with the Touareg

Much better picture from PO... with the driving lights and roof tint/photoshop?? that aren't on the car anymore.

Yeah I drive though Danville every so often and I do vw car meets in sellinsgrove along with grocery shopping... I know the area. This was the first sb with a sb roof that I ever saw, it was also the first one I test drove. I really wanted a pepper white jcw but both I went to look at were beat to death. I need to get some sticky tires for the spring, just three days and I can say allseasons tires won't cut it. Haha

Good to see another MINI in the area then! Not sure if you've heard of any clubs around (if you're into that.) I know there's CarlisleMINI, and PhillyMINI. I personally haven't done any events with CarlisleMINI, but I've done a few with PhillyMINI. It's a nice little drive, but totally worth it. You should check into it, see if that's something you'd be interested in!
I already posted in the Carlisle sub forum on here... Also if you look at a map I am a lot closer to Carlisle. There are better roads in central PA anyways, no need to drive to SEPA and worry about dodging horse crap on all the back roads driving through amish hell. haha I am also a BMWCCA member and do outings with the nittany bimmers chapter.
Hey, I was actually trying to track you down on different forums with various names... I actually was actually google searching you and saw you were on here after I got my mini. I stumbled onto my mini at a subaru/vw dealer and after some searching turned out the PO was on here and I actually got some parts off of him. Someday when I get lowered I'll ship you the spoiler.
The e34 actually made bimmerforums e34 subforums calendar this year for October, check it out... www.cafepress.com/bfc3 ... and still slow as ever. Did the Cobra get sold to someone in PA? I saw autox pictures of it... looked good.
Might as well add another decent picture to this thread.

It's so funny, how we've owned the same cars. I first had a R56S JCW that was a lemon. LOL I said forget that and got the more bullet proof 1st gen. .
Yeah the E34 is slow, but once you get it moving and keep momentum it's all good.

Cobra was sold to a nice guy in Thorndale, PA.. I wanted to keep it but knew if I did I'd be in a big hole. Did a lot and all it needed was Lexan, replica Y2K R front bumper/rear spoiler/hood, RR cage and fuel cell.. I wanted to run American Iron series when in the region. I actually have a few autox vids files that I need to edit and upload from this past season before it went on a diet.
