Just bought my Mini S
Just bought it from a Northern VA dealer used. It's a 6Spd 2005 MCS, Pure Silver with black leather.
If you recognize this and might know the owner please let me know (PM me please). This "S" is very fast, I wanted to find out what all was done to it (engine mods ECU etc..) before I start doing my mods. I can tell it's got an aftermarket exhaust and Enkei Rims with General tires on them.

Thanks ngweibing!
I've owned a lot of cars...from Japanese to German. I have to say that I'm having the most fun I've ever had in my new Mini. I'm always trying to find a reason to drive. "Honey! do we need milk?" LOL

Learned more about my mini
This weekend I took some time to get to know my Mini. One thing about buying from a dealer is you can't interview the owner and don't know what's been done. So I looked-up my exhaust on the NAM exhaust sticky. It turns-out I have and Ireland Engineering Catback. I also realize I have an ALTA pulley...don't know what the % reduction is. I've read on the forums that ALTA has 17% reduction pulley. I don't know if I have any ECU tuning done. Don't know how to tell.
Have you had the dealer pull up a list of all the options that were delivered with your car? Since it's a 2005 and has the manual transmission, it might also have the factory limited-slip differential (LSD). It wasn't a very common option, but it appears that the previous owner was pretty performance-oriented so s/he might have ordered it.

Thanks!
I have learned so much about my car from NAM
Congrats! Easy to get your color if you just order. I wish I had that option :-)
