Tomorrow, that is good news. Do you have any over passes or truck stops staked out to see the MINI as it comes in? Or is it just me that was planning to do that ?

I'm so happy for you all! I hope everyone's CMs arrive home quickly.

I am still a miserable mess. "My" ship left Southampton yesterday and is trekking across the pond, yet my VIN still doesn't show up. UGH

I'm trying to do something productive like choose and order accessories. I must find out if the dealer will still service the car & hold the warranty if I change a few things.

Hurley, do you think your are on a WW ship, or a KLine boat? I was surprised to see the WW site did update the same day as my departure, but the Ask MINI line only updated yesterday, and the OL still shows waiting transport. So if you are a KLine, it could be you are just in waiting limbo.

Fingers crossed

Our mini is at the dealership. OL still has it at the VDC. Hoping to take delivery tomorrow.

Mine didn't show up in the WW website until the ship was at Southampton or had just left.

Congratulations in advance. Mine should be at the dealership tomorrow but some dealer accessories mean I can't get it until Tuesday

Strange things are afoot. Now the OL shows "en route" so they must think it's on a ship.
Camminich, I am not sure of anything. I only think I am on a WW line since my port is Port Hueneme and that's the info from Zonedguy's "How to track your mini." But, hey, I certainly could be on the K-Line.

Congrats to Justmenmymini! I am so excited you get it tomorrow!!!

I think I'm in shock. All this waiting and now that it's here, I'm a nervous wreck that something will go wrong.

I am thrilled to report that my MA says my CM is on the WW line Toronto.

We're all accounted for now!

Cali Highway is scheduled to arrive on 7/14...but marinetraffic dot com has her ETA 7/12 @ 5am!! She's been ahead of schedule for the entire voyage.

We're home and our new Mini is tucked safely in the garage. I've got picks but too wiped out to post them tonight. I'll get them on here tomorrow.

I will tell you this...I'd heard how fun these cars could be so I thought I was prepared for it. WRONG! I absolutely freaking love this car! I can't wait for you guys to experience this too!!

Couldn't figure out the gallery so used photobucket. My MAC wouldn't
cooperate.

They had one person ask if my car was for sale while I was learning the ins and outs. Another had to be shoo'd out of it so we could leave. Kinda funny...

The black makes it look less orange somehow. Added boot stripes too and they made such a difference.

I've been sitting in it in the garage playing and trying to get a handle on the Ipod and Bluetooth.

Congratz, congratz!! Good first pic. So what was your total order time, about 11 weeks?

My situation was a little different. My MA found an available, already built car sitting awaiting transport that matched what I wanted down to a T. He then had to work a deal with the dealership that had ordered the car. I think the only thing it had on it that I probably wouldn't have splurged on was Xenons and Bluetooth/USB but now that I have them...glad they're there.

My wait time from the time of deposit was 4 weeks. I am extremely lucky!!

Thanks for the complements, guys.

One thing I've found interesting...the run flats are not bad at all. Maybe it's because I came to Mini from a truck but the ride is terrific. I don't like how 'fragile' they can be with potholes up here in NE Ohio and because of that I will probably replace them with regular SB radials after a while. I've heard that improves the ride. If that's true, things can only get better because I'm loving it as it is.

Still trying to figure out all of the controls. The Ipod playing is giving me trouble but maybe it's the way I have my playlists set up...I have none!!

So are you planing a trip to Tim Hortons in Columbus? The Mid-Ohio group gets together there about once a month. I have a motored over a few times for some Tim bits. It's a long haul from Indy, but the group is worth it.
