If you have a 2 car garage, you can always show her this picture and tell her that the garage will just look cooler.

Then we drove down to the keys and averaged about 38 mpg compared to my last car which would average about 24 or 25 mpg on the same trip.
Driving to the Keys in a mini convertible. Life is good, eh? One of my very favorite places in the world. U lucky dog!

Howdy from Hopkinton! Here is a photo of a busy garage at our house.

Yep, Key West is about a 2.5 to 3 hour drive for me. Maybe 4 if I take my time. I sometimes make a day trip out of it. Leave the house at 8 in the morning, get there by 11, walk around, chill, have a few beers, check out the sights, sober up, and start driving home at about 6, then get home by 9 or so.

My gf isn't as crazy about convertibles as I am so when she's with me our top-down time is pretty limited but when I go by myself it's top down 100% of the way there and back unless it's raining.

For me personally I enjoy the drive just as much as being in KW.

We try to get down there every year. Fly into MIA and rent a car, then drive to the Keys. Good times
