Introducing.... - MAXX !

I finally have him home, and he is amazing. Check out my gallery because I really suck at putting photos here. I'm pleased as punch at finally getting to drive him. He's REALLY fast!

Thanks, I can't wait for some decent weather to take him out in and get some more pics in some sun.

Very nice! What approach did you take to blacking-out your chrome?

I knew there were some things that were more difficult to black out, like the door handles and gas cap. I thought about putting on different scudgeons, but when I saw Maxx after it was done it just looked right. A little bit of chrome down each side looks okay to me. I think only having the door handles would have made them "stick out" more. I also thought about blackening the chrome stripe that goes all the way around under the windows, but again it looked like a nice dividing line to me. I was told that the boot lift might come in chrome and if it did I was going to have it painted red, but it arrived black, which is perfect. The only other thing I'm going to do is to add a Betty Boop logo on the side windows over the black. But that has to wait until it's a little warmer for the adhesive to work properly.
