Pre-programming problems

My MCS is on order, expected to be completed March 8, but I got an email from MINI today saying I could submit some preferences (radio presets, headlights, etc), but every time I try to submt I get an error message.

Anyone else have any problems with this?

I wish mine would go into production so I could be confused right along with you

Yeah, same thing with me. The 500 internal server error, right?

I don't know if the service is down or what, but I've been trying for a couple weeks. Too bad because it surprised me when it showed up in my inbox. I thought it was the coolest thing...

Oh well, it'll take me 2-3 minutes to configure when I get delivery.

Yes, I got the The 500 internal server error. Oh well. I was hoping for any little thing to make the wait go by a little faster.

MINI is telling me "it's scheduled for production" with an "estimated completion date of March 8."

Not sure that means anything??

I got that email from mini usa this week as well. I was able to fill out the form. I've read where some folks have issues with the mini usa stuff if they use Macs. I certainly have no understanding in that area, but I thought I'd throw it out there for what it's worth. I use Windows.

Don't worry about it! Sitting in my new MINI with the owner's manual on the seat next to me, programming my preferences into the computer, was a wonderful part of the MINI experience. Don't shortchange yourself!

or you can make a list and have the dealer do it for you when it arrives.

I do have a Mac at home, but I also tried it on a different browser on my Windows machine at work. No go.

I'm with most of you though in getting joy out of setting it up myself, but it was still a cool idea to have your preferences and stations ready for you when you get your MINI

I got Leatherette, 'cause it sounds fancier than just leather.

True, but i've always had leather and I just like the look and feel of the lounge leather better. Just couldn't justify that $2000 price tag for it though! (don't like it THAT much...)

I've heard good things about the MINI leatherette though, but I haven't had a whole lot of hands on time with it.... all my dealer's demo cars had the lounge.
