New mini Cooper s 2011

Hi everyone,

This is my first ever post and first ever mini Cooper . I'm happy abs very excited . My new baby is black top and red body boy can it run . I live in Texas and have many friends with nice car and since my car isn't tinted they urge me to get 15% or 20% to be safe so cops won't pull me over . I'm still deciding and wondered what y'all think . Also I guess my next mod was to change all the bulbs I'm the car to led and the blinker on the side of the car to led also. Anyways I'm a total noob lol and if y'all have any suggestions on a must have mod lmk!

Congrats on your new MINI. Mods are individual decisions. To each his own. LEDs are nice looking, but I'd suggest living with it AS-IS for a bit. Once you let the mod bug bite you.... there is no turning back.

ENJOY!

Excellent choice of color.

The Mini Driving lights would be nice.

How much did you purchase them for and did you take them to the mini dealership to install?

Lights= $320.10

Bracket & Grill = $107.50

Installation at Dealer + $292.00

Total installed at the Dealer was $719.60

They do have a seperate switch on the dash to turn them on. They come on when using the hi-beams and they do put out a whole lot of light.

Like I said: They were expensive but I like the looks of the Genuine Mini lights I paid the premium for them. They are programmed into the cars computer so no worry about overloading the Alternater when switching them on.

I have seen Mini's with other driving lights but I just do not think they look as good as the genuine Mini product. ( My Opinion )

Another thing I have is a GPS Mounting bracket made by "GOMINIGO" that puts your GPS in the empty spot just left of the Tech. It is very well made and was easy to install. It was only $35.00 + $7.30 shipping $42.30 total.
