What's up everyone, I just acquired a Pure Silver R53 to replace my previous daily driver, a '73 Datsun 240z. With winter coming and the salt covering the road, it was time to take it off the road for a little while. I bought a '90 Corrado to replace the Z a few months ago, only to find out very quickly that the motor is no good and needs to be rebuilt.

I am just getting started absorbing the awesome info on this site and planning out some basic mods to take it from stock to interesting. Any recommendations for first mods, or stuff to stay away from?

 

First mods are typically a reduced SC pulley & CAI for more "go", a rear sway bar for better handling. If it hasn't already been done, I'd ditch runflat tires for all-seasons based on where you live.

Check the first gen forum for more specific info on mods. There's a ton of info here on the very subject. And oh yeah, grats on your R53, and welcome aboard!

Thanks dude, I actually bought an ALTA CAI right after that post haha. I like the idea of the rear sway bar, and the smaller pulley is next on the list.
