Hello, I'm interested in hearing from anyone who has mini connected and what they think of it. I waited until I could order with mini connected not so much because the available features are earth-shaking (I really have no need of twitter/facebook in the car) but because it seems that new features can easily be added in the future by updating the app on the phone.

So, any first-hand rants or raves to share?

 

I'm crossing my fingers for NAM on MINI Connected.

 

Mine is supposed to be here the 1st or 2nd week of Dec. I don't think anyone (in the US) has gotten one with Connected yet

 

I won't have any first hand impression for another couple of months. However, I was able to justify the expense for a couple of reasons.
#1 I wanted NAV
#2 I wanted seedless iPod/iPhone integration. I think Connected will do a great job of provide excellent integration of my iPod. It really affords you full control of the iPod with the same menus and functionality. Plus your album art is displayed on-screen. Pretty cool. iPhone integration is a bonus. The ability to update the system's functionality via software is yet another bonus.

I could care less about facebook and twitter.

I'm pretty excited.
