Yet another new owner

I'm currently waiting for my first MINI (it's purportedly due in near the end of December)--and yeah, it's pretty well exciting.

The only bad part is the seeming lack of a MINI motoring/enthusiasts' group in central Virginia (Richmond, to be precise).

Are there any drivers out there from RVA?

Welcome Dalek 10 to the asylum for miniacs, otherwise known as NAM . It sounds like it's going to be a great Christmas. Here’s an up-to-date link of local MINI clubs:

Surely there's a few fanboys and fangirls in your area too.

Congrats and know how it is to wait for your new toy. I'm sure there are plenty of MINIacs in your area, Richmond is basically civilized isn't it?

There are a fair number of Minis on the road here in RVA-- so it's surprising that a club is not thriving here. The Central VA British Car Club is solely for the Classics, I think.

Dalek 10 nice to have you here! Welcome welcome! There is amazing group of drivers in Virginia - HRMotoring Club, a band of MINI drivers you absolutely have to meet and drive with. They met me on my way to Key West look here post #35 and more. Their MINIs are top notch and have some very unique mods. The club is very active and they have their own website.
