Its great that there is a forum for MC new guys. I bought my 2007 Mini Cooper S a month ago from Carmax. Worn original tires were its only obvious shortcoming. Since purchase, I've...
- devised a cool mod using my cupholder, Bondo, and a paper cup as a mount for my Sirius radio
- bought a jack, lugwrench, and donut spare tire from a junkyard
- replaced the stock runflats with Bridgestone 195/55 Potenzas
- learned how to reprogram the flat tire indicator for tires with different diameters (your flat tire detector does NOT use a preessure indicator inside the tire, it uses the diameter of the tire -- I didnt know that)
- discovered that my right tie rod was frozen, and that this happens to lots of Mini's
My current quests:
- getting the turnsignal to flash 3 times instead of once
- finding an owners manual online (the one on this forum features a mini joystick, which I don't have)
Thanks in advance for the feedback and comments.

Manual @ Miniusa.com
Wow, a month into this and, already, a question I can answer.
Recent MINI owners manuals (not shop manuals) are available in PDF format directly from MINI's website (miniusa.com). You'll need to go to the 'Owners Lounge' section (which means setting up an account there first, using your VIN number).
Once in the Lounge, click on the 'Your Mini' link and you'll then see another link for owners manuals. There's one up for the 2007 S.
And the owner's manual has a section for setting the lane change flasher option.
