I just purchased my first Cooper S Manual and I have 2 questions: How do I get the Tire Pressure light to stop blinking? The tires are at the correct pressure. And there is medium pitched whine when I start up from a stop. What is that awful sound and how much is it going to cost to get it to stop?
Any information would be much appreciated, thanks in advance.

 

Don't know about the whine?? Read your manual to find out how to reset the TPMS system, its pretty straight forward.

 

The whine is the supercharger or the steering pump. Mine does it and the dealership said it was normal. However, if it gets too loud... there could be a problem.
