It's new for Mini this year, but BMW and Volkswagon have had it for a couple of years. Actually the deal is $900. and $600 in the headlight system. I think that Mini wants that Adaptive headlight system out amoung us troops.

I was going going to order the Xenons anyway, so to me it is a $1500 deal.

The 2011 cars have the adaptive lighting option if you also get the xenon headlights.

Does anyone know if they're extending the $1500 option credit to 2011's? I thought this was one of the things that was going away after August 31st along with the financing credit.

If you're set on getting into any Mini, then the best bet might be to find a 2010 on the lot and see if they'll extend the August deal to you (i.e. $1500 option credit + financing at 1.9% for the Mini Select and a few bucks for getting one from the dealer stock). Can't remember if you wanted a Cooper or Cooper S, but Prestige seems to have a ton of justa coopers on the lot according to their inventory list.

spoke to person at prestige on sat. he was suppose to get back to me with some numbers, but he never did. i figure that the numbers are too high, and i completely understand that i am not a good prospect for a sale due to the altima's remaining payments.

i obviously have to wait a few more months, hope that there will be incentives for the 11's and do this nonsense all over again.

i could incorporate the $4200 into the new mini payments which would increase my payments an extra $65 a month for five yrs.

very unrealistic, very impractical.

These specials are only to clear out the 2010 models. Those of you wanting these kind of specials on the 2011 models will have to wait about a year.

The specials don't necessarily get better the longer you wait either. August specials were better than September specials.
