Hi everyone! Just bought myself a 06 Cooper and wanted to share. Its my first Mini and also my first non-beater car. Solar red/silver roof, pretty lightly optioned, 40k miles. Its going to be a DD and HS auto-x toy. I'll probably be hanging around the suspension and auto-x sections mostly, but will likely find my way to a few Philly meets too. Props to my little brother for the pictures.

 

Congrats on the new MINI, and welcome to the site! I've actually never seen a Solar Red in person before. I think they only made them for less than a year so they're pretty rare (at least where I live). Great job finding one!

 

Ooh!! A Solar Red sighting for me is about as rare as that beautiful Silk Green (it's like seeing a beautiful Painted Bunting in Maine or something!). Solar Red has been my favorite shade in all the reds so far. Congrats on your purchase and your beautiful MINI.
