Hummer to MINI...

As you can see from the title I recently went from an H3 to my MINI Copper S. I think it was the best move I could of made. I am very pleased I pulled the trigger and drove off the lot with my S. The only issue I had was placing my son in the back. The H3 was better on safety but overall the MINI was the way to go.

Congrats! Definitely the right move. Although the H3 might have been safer from the perspective of surviving an accident, I'm sure the Mini will help you aviod those sort of situations more often. Hope you enjoy driving it and best of luck

Thanks NJ Mini! Youre right on in regards to safer from surviving an accident...thats exactly what I was getting at. I have been driving it for 5 days now and everyday has been better than the last. I find myself making excuses to go out and rip the gears for awhile.

I went from a Chevy Avalanche to my MCS ... half the curb weight, nearly doubled my MPG! Bet you've done at least that...

I went from a F-250 4X4 SuperDuty as my daily driver to a MCS... My monthly fuel bill went from $525 a month to $125... I'm loving every second of it too!!!

Welcome to the cult...

Wow!! Talk about a culture shock! Many felicitations Bryano on your new purchase, you're about to find out that smaller is definitely better! Just be prepared to have too much fun and be the center of attention! Enjoy.

If you go to the control panel (click on Quick Links -> User Control Panel) under Settings and Options you can edit your signature and from there it will give you the option to add an image. Let us know if you have any problems.

Edit: Or in the left-hand rail at the top you can use the Sig-o-matic. I've never used that but it seems pretty straightforward...

H2 Hummer on Orlando Mini lot

When I was in Orlando to see the new Countryman I niticed they had a nice H2 Hummer as well as a lot of SUV's on the used car lot. I guess the price of gas probably had a lot to do with people getting out of their SUV's.

I think there will be a lot more trading in to get the four door countryman when they become available.

Hey did you buy your MINI from Mini of Madison?

We were up there last week and some guy was test driving a Clubman S thinking of trading in his Green H3.

I know its a long shot but hey worth a try.

Congrats and welcome to your new addiction

Congrats & Welcome! We went from an F250 FX4 and F150...both supercrews. A couple of times a year I miss the convenience of the trucks (like when time to buy a Christmas tree...and I rarely had anyone with me but the dog. We LOVE our MINI's for everyday driving and we can always rent a car or force someone else to drive when those "exceptions" arise. After getting rear-ended in my '08 MCS these little boogers are a lot tougher than most people think. The Infiniti that hit me (at approximately 55 mph) was totaled while my MCS was repaired (but immediately traded). Good Luck and Enjoy!!!
