Hey, new guy here.

Hi, the name is Fred obviously. I have an 03 Electric Blue Cooper S. Most fun I've had in a car has been in this little thing. I've started auto-xing it, tons of fun. I am in central Texas, we seem to have a decent group of minis here. Anyway just saying hey.

Fred

Hey back at ya Fred!

Congrats on your MINI and welcome to NAM!

Now that you're NAMily, you gotta share with your brothers and sisters so post up some pics of your MINI... How about some of you two at an auto-x? We'd love to see some...

Action pics are so cool!

Hope that you and your MINI experience many miles, smiles and wins (auto-xing) in the years to come!

Motor On!

Wow there does seem to be a good amount on MINI owners in Austin area. Ya'll gotta set something up for F1 races, a MINI corral or somthing, maybe a texas hill country run with MINI of Austin. Oh and a BBQ with brisket and sweet tea.

Now thats a really great idea!

Maybe howsoonisnow1985 you ought to post this one up under General MINI Talk (so we don't hi-jack this thread) and see what we get as a response.

Who knows you just may get something started!

I put up some pictures from the may 2010 auto-x.

As for meets there is an event at Harris Hill road in October. I'd have to check to get the exact date. It is a 2 day event. Cost is going to run about $300. I'll try and find your post and put it in there too.

Thanks for the pics Fred!

Nice looking MINI!

I hope those p-lot logs (orange colored) are there to denote the start of the course and are not part of the course itself (e.g. part of an offset gate)!

Good luck with your auto-x endeavors and keep us posted, looking forward to pics from the Harris Hill event (hillclimb I assume)!
