Both of my keys are dead for auto lock and unlock, Do the batteries go dead only after a year in use?

I tried to reset the doors through the dashboard setting but with no response.

anyone help me out,

can I pick up these batteries anywhere?

 

I would first let dealer know that only after a year the did not work???
Not sure if you can just pick up anywhere.
