So, I thought I'd start a thread for those of us who are waiting for ANY information, patiently of course.

I ordered my new 2010 MCS on June 14th.

I received a production number on June 16th.

Nothing or no change since.

OL says: "On Order"

Ask Mini says: "In production with no production date set."

Is it odd to know my production number after only a week....

 

Day 11. No new word.

Should I call Ask Mini and speak to one of the operators?

 

The web site does not update fast - mine still says awaiting transport. It's probably built. Ordered mine the 8th, built by the 18th. It started across the pond Tuesday the 22nd.

When waiting on your New MINI it is very difficult to be patient I called my salesman everyother day. I live in Germany and we did not get a production number. I got the VIN 2 June and the car was supposed to be delivered on 14 June we did not receive the car until 22 June. I was so upset but what can you do? I am very happy now and absolutely LOVE my new car. It is so worth the wait. I type my VIN number in the owners lounge website and it doesn't recognize it I think it is because we are overseas with an American vehicle registered here. Don't know......
