Need Mini advice

I'm new and planning to buy a Mini convertible. Q: should I go for an "S" or not an S...??? Is there a big performance difference? (I'm not a dragsters).

If you like to drive, and driving makes you then get an S.

Yes 34% more HP. I have a justa and have never felt like I was going to be run over. It is snappy for what it is. I haven't driven a turbo model other than test drive, but for my use I don't feel like I have missed anything.

Test drive 'em both and decide. Different strokes for different folks. I have one of each (neither is a vert), and love them equally.

I personally like the "S" cause it has more response.... but you should definally test drive them both.

If you don't mind spending the extra $3200 get the S, if you don't want to spend the dough get the base Cooper, either one will entertain you.
