I think it may become mine cause she thought she could drive stick better then she is. . .Thats fine by me cause I'm in love with this car! Its so much fun to drive!! I'm new and in Buffalo as well. I've been looking for a MINI for a while and figured this forum would be a lot of help in the search. Glad to see WNY has a great MINI following. I just test drove one today and fell in love. MINI all day.

Thanks! We love the car but hate the little issues we are having. We're having dealer problems, nothing against the car.

What is a good beginer mod? I was leaning towards a short throw shifter and MAYBE a CAI. I want to avoid getting bit by the mod bug (let the wife get bit this time around).

 

Where abouts in B-low? Im in NT. Did you find a car yet?

Yep! I just traded my truck in and now we are a multi-MINI family.

 

Same thing happened to me and many others. Congratulations and we are all glad you wife got up to speed. It does take a bit of time, even going from one stick to another sometimes, but it gets easier over the miles.
