I just bought a 2005 MCS, electric blue, w/a tad over 23K miles. I thought it was tough trying to sleep while looking for one. Now I'm having trouble sleeping knowing I got it! One immediate problem though. I took it to a local indy to have the oil changed and a general "go over" and it was discovered I have the dreaded broken right side motor mount. I HAD heard what sounded like plasticy scraping from under the car while in reverse, but the thing was in immaculate shape, extremely well taken care of, and just under 23K. I suppose I got off okay - everything else is fine. A $194 fix.

No worries! The motor mount is so very common.

You didn't have the warranty with less than 50K miles?

Thanks! Still hard to believe! Nope to the warranty, dang.

The fix on the motor mount sidelined my bonnet stripes plans for a while (thinking black stripes - even though the hood is same color as car).
