Welcome to the forum, and congrats on your new MINI. Compared to your Rover Mini, your new R52 must feel like a Cadillac. Can you tell us your opinions on the difference (besides the size)?

Welcome to the forum, boy do I understand the back problems, may have to see about a quick release steering wheel to get in and out of MINI one of these days, glad the new MINI still works for you, good luck.

My back (spine) is bad enough that I am having surgery May 4th after 8 months of pain.

Old mini was quicker in the curves and great at lifting its wheels up. Gas mileage was 34 in town, 46 highway. 1275 cc engine. Great at getting comments from people. A lot of people thought it was a slow old small car, they got surprised. Problems all the time with Lucas wiring.
